Phenxx Cooling Canvas® uses our Cooling Threads to both create a cool surface and keep that surface thermoregulated so the sleeper remains cool through the night. It is this combination that makes the difference for women who are hot in bed!

Phenxx AntiFlush™fibres absorbs heat quickly which makes it pleasantly cool to touch. Compared to other materials Phenxx AntiFlush™ fibres are strong and resistant to wear, making them very durable, smooth and comfortable. We couple this with Tencel™ (Lyocell) made from sustainably sourced wood, primarily eucalyptus, which grows quickly without the need for extensive irrigation or pesticides. The production process is also eco-friendly, using a closed-loop system that recycles water and solvents, minimising environmental impact. Tencel™ fibres have a natural ability to regulate moisture, keeping the body cool and dry. Its natural breathability promotes air circulation, preventing overheating and ensuring a comfortable sleep experience. Its soft and breathable nature makes it ideal for hot sleepers. Strong and durable, Tencel™ fibres ensure bedding made from this material lasts a long time. Tencel™ fibres are round, smooth and friction free making them ideal for sensitive skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and contact dermatitis. Tencel™ fibres are very efficient at absorbing moisture and wicking it away from the body, keeping the skin dry and comfortable throughout the night. The fibres are naturally smooth, creating a luxuriously silky-smooth fabric that drapes beautifully and feels gentle against the skin. Furthermore, the nature of the fibres is ideal for reducing static buildup. Tencel™ has natural antibacterial properties, inhibiting the growth of bacteria and ensuring a hygienic sleep surface and with our XX Antibac™ Technology added in addition, 99.99% of microbes and dustmites are destroyed keeping the sleeper's skin safe and fresh.

The combination of AntiFlush™ Technology and Tencel™ means that the sleep surface is Cool to the touch and the thermoregulation during the night are both achieved to the best possible degree.

We do an initial shrink test and they have been tested for 60-degree wash tumble dry for 100 washes. We do a breathability test with the waterproof fabric. Then we do a pressure test to ensure that no liquid passes through the silent waterproof layer. A peeling test is also conducted.

These are tested internally by our QA team and it is also sent externally to an Australian third Party either David Heffer and Associates or SGS to verify and validate the claims.

We absolutely recommend that you wash your Cooling Canvas® range before using it on your bed. Wash it at 60℃ with some towels or linens to ensure it never snags on the washing machine or could be damaged in anyway.

Absolutely! We're as pet-friendly as you are and understand the joy of snuggling up with your furry friends. That's precisely why our Cooling Canvas® is designed to help protect your mattress from potential pet stains and damage. However, it's important to note that while our Canvas® is robust, our furry companions, especially cats, may find it too tempting not to play with. Their sharp claws can sometimes compromise the TPU waterproof backing, reducing its effectiveness.

To ensure your Canvas® remains a reliable guardian against pet stains, we advise supervising your pets' interaction with it. This doesn't mean your beloved cat or dog can't enjoy the comfort of your bed; it simply means taking a little extra care to prevent playful damage. If your pets can resist the urge to treat the Canvas® as a toy, then you can rest assured it will offer strong protection against pet-related stains and spills.

Remember, the Canvas® is here to make life with pets a little easier, ensuring your mattress stays clean and comfortable for everyone in the family to enjoy.

This is a common question, and our general recommendation (depending on what you are doing and what you are using it for) is washing your Cooling Canvas® mattress protector every month, with a maximum of 2 months between washes. However, if spills occur or if you have pets and children, you might need to wash it more frequently. Testing indicates that a monthly wash on 60℃ and with good general care and following all our guidance, would allow many years of use with no decline in efficiency.

Yes. Please wash it monthly with other linens or towels of the same colour at 40-60℃.

Yes, you can tumble dry on warm. We recommend line drying in the shade to ensure the longevity of your Cooling Canvas®. High heat can damage waterproof backing like TPU, reducing its effectiveness.

Generally, a mild detergent is recommended for washing the Cooling Canvas® mattress protectors and pillow protectors. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners, as they can break down the materials and reduce the Cooling Canvas®'s waterproof layer and hypoallergenic properties.

Pre-treating stains with a mild detergent or stain remover before washing can be effective. For protein-based stains (like blood or sweat), using cold water is best to prevent setting the stain and doing as quickly as possible before the stain sets. Like with any stain, the faster you treat the more likely it will be to remove the stain.

Ironing is not recommended for the Cooling Canvas® mattress and pillow protectors as high heat can damage its waterproof layer.

Thermocool™ pillows works because of the Reactex® technology, a proprietary chemistry and patented cooling process which is a type of Phase Change Material (PCM). A PCM is an innovative substance which can absorb or release large amounts of 'latent' heat when they go through a change in their physical state, i.e. from solid to liquid and vice versa. 

This next generation climate control is a pressure activated gradient system that continuously controls the transfer of energy (heat) away from your body into continuous comfort and all day and night cooling, which will recharge and support deeper sleep. The chemistry of this regenerative cooling technology is proprietary and the processes are patented.

The Thermocool™ Pillow is really unique on the market because it uses more than the standard amount of PCM compared to other cooling products. You can find this technology on both the cover of the Thermocool™ pillow and inside in the memory foam of the Thermocool™ pillow meaning it can pull more latent heat that the average cooling pillow on the market, making it perfect for women with hot flushes or larger amounts of latent heat. It also works really quickly, usually it is fully activated after only 8 seconds. The Reactex® technology constantly regenerates itself and your body by using body heat. Heat builds up in each layer and ‘spills’ over into the next larger, layer with increasing levels of Reactex®. It's the energy shift that allows the technology to continuously offer the perfect comfort throughout the night. 

Independent lab testing shows that during a cooling capacity comparison test Reactex® pillows perform between 25–40 times cooler than all the other standard pillows without Reactex®.

We partnered with Reactex due to the rapid action of their technology and the fact that it is pulling heat from the body and storing it only to release it later. It will continuously pull latent heat from the body and constantly recharge itself, meaning it will start working as quickly as 8 seconds and continue to move energy and disperse heat away from the body to customise temperature regulation for the sleeper.

Our Evoke intimacy oil can be easily wiped off with a soft cloth or rinsed away with water - what about a part 2 in the shower? We recommend a gentle cleaning of the Evoke intimacy oil to remove any residue, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free experience.

It's essential to check whether the sex toys are compatible with oil based oils as most are only compatible with water based or silicone based oils. In general we do not recommend using with silicone based sex toys to avoid the potential degradation of the silicone. We do recommend it for glass or crystal sex toys, and natural sex toys like fingers and hands.
