Back in August of 2021, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I hadn't quite turned 50. I went on to have a single mastectomy then chemo and radiation, while this was all happening, I had to take hormone blockers, I don't know if normally you gradually get hot flushes but mine started hot and fast, I have a fan for every occasion and always have the fan on when I sleep. I can't take hormone replacement or anything like that because of everything else. I will have perimenopause or menopause for another 7 years. It doesn't matter what it is called. It matters that it is hell.
